It happened Monday at the Mission Peak in Fremont.
Solonica Pancholy returned from a hike to find her car window smashed along with a note.
It mentioned her wearing a hijab and said, "This is our country now. Get out."

She wears a scarf on her head because of a medical condition and posted this message for the attacker on social media:
"I pray for you to get out of pain," she said. "May you never do this to any one. I love you anyway."
State Park police are investigating. No charges have been filed.
