SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that closed four of five westbound lanes on the Bay Bridge Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told the CHP that the black Mercedes Benz lost control and hit at least one other car, injuring that driver.

Witnesses said the Mercedes had been recklessly swerving across lanes in heavy traffic at speeds well in excess of 100 mph.

The unidentified driver of that Mercedes Benz told ABC'7's Wayne Freedman that he wasn't speeding.
