SAN LORENZO, Calif. (KGO) -- Ryan Saw said it was love at first sight when he met Si Si Han back in their native Burma in 1991.

"She's very wonderful woman, we met when I was 15. I was very lucky that I could marry her," he said.

But, it took ten long years to finally start a life together in San Lorenzo. Once their daughter was born, their life felt complete.

But, everything changed at 5:10 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 2.

Saw had just dropped his wife off for her shift when police say a drunk driver in a box truck slammed into her toll booth.

"I didn't believe it. I tried to call her cell phone too. Hoping she stay conscious or something like that. It just went straight to her voice mail," Saw said.

Si Si died instantly. The life Ryan Saw so lovingly built was gone.

Yesterday, Han's friends and family gathered for her funeral to say goodbye.
Now, the 41-year-old widower is struggling to survive without her.

"I like to do whatever she wants me to do. And then she is very happy with that too, so when she is happy I am happy too. I'm going to miss her a lot," Saw said.

The couple's mothers are helping to care for their daughter for now.

A GoFundMe page has been created.

The suspect, Daniel Berk, faces DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.
