Disability rights activists sue Berkeley school district

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Disability rights attorneys have slapped the Berkeley Unified School District with a lawsuit.

According to our media partners at the Bay Area News Group the suit claims the district is doing a poor job of teaching children with dyslexia and other reading disorders.

The lawyers say the district has a one size fits all approach to teaching.

The goal of the suit is to ensure there are policies and procedures in place to make sure educators have the tools to teach all children.
