California lawmakers debate whether police body camera footage should be made public

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- At the state capitol, a newly-ignited debate about police transparency and accountability as lawmakers weigh in on whether to make body camera videos available to the public.

Critics of the bill say it could compromise investigations.
