Burlingame Police say they received the call just before 10 p.m. Saturday night for an unresponsive man.
"It was obvious that he had sustained stab wounds," said Lt. Jay Kiely.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police then arrested 36-year-old Smith. She's been booked at San Mateo County Jail on homicide.
Smith worked at nearby Union Bank where co-workers declined to speak on camera. Not far from the home the couple was known by employees at Sunrise Market, as well as an independent car dealership.

A man who works there says Mia and Ed were engaged at one point. Also that he just stopped to talk to Ed who was with his grandson Saturday afternoon.
He was shocked to hear police arrested Smith.
Smith will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
