CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Authorities are trying to piece together how a man died at Anthony Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley.
A hiker discovered the body of a man at 6:30 p.m. Sunday night, and authorities got to the body around 10 p.m. and removed it around 3 a.m. Monday

The area investigators are combing through was densely wooded.
Police say there is not a threat in the area, and they did not suspect foul play, so the park was open.

The body was found in a remote area of the park near the Redwood Canyon Golf Course. The body was taken to the coroner's office until they identify him, and police say they don't want to release any more information about cause of death.
The coroner says the autopsy may take place Monday afternoon.
