SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A mass of people rushed to downtown San Jose for free tickets to see one of the nation's most popular, young musicians.
Fans of Chance the Rapper lined First Street, wrapping around buildings trying to get tickets.

The Grammy winner announced the free show on Facebook as part of the company's F8 Conference at City National Civic.
Chance will play at Oracle Arena next week, that concert is already sold out.

This year, Chance became the first musician to win a Grammy without selling his music, or being on a record label. He gives his tracks away for free online.
