BART service restored between Concord, Pleasant Hill after grass fire knocked down

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- BART service has resumed between Concord and Pleasant Hill stations after multiple grass fires in the area prompted a closure, the agency tweeted Tuesday morning.

Riders should still expect major delays on the Antioch line in the SFO Airport and Antioch directions.

Crews extinguished the fires burning in the Concord yard, BART tweeted at 7:20 a.m.

Crews continue to inspect key equipment in the area of the earlier fires.
