Magnitude 3.6 and 3.7 earthquakes hit near Morgan Hill, USGS says

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (KGO) -- A 3.6 and 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday morning near San Jose according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The first quake hit just before 7 a.m. about six miles outside of Morgan Hill in Santa Clara County.

The second quake struck shortly after in the same area and had a depth of 5.6 kilometers, USGS says.
