EPA says building secure following reports of active shooter

WASHINGTON (KGO) -- EPA officials say their building is secure following unconfirmed reports of an active shooter at their headquarters in Washington Wednesday afternoon.

The Federal Protective Service and D.C. Police responded to reports of gunshots earlier, and remain at the scene to conduct an investigation.

Officials said no injuries were reported.
