Marin County boot camp helping new firefighters build skills necessary to fight wildfires

It's clear that fire season is off and running, but it takes years for firefighters to build up the experience needed to battle these blazes.

NOVATO, Calif. (KGO) -- It's clear that fire season is off and running, but it takes years for firefighters to build up the experience needed to battle these blazes.

About 30 of them got started Monday with a boot camp in Marin County.
