Police say there were three burglaries Monday, and one attempted burglary Tuesday.

"The extent of the damage is just overwhelming," resident Sreedhar Juttu said.
Juttu and his wife were at work when a neighbor called them with the news that a driver had smashed through the front of their home.
The three men inside the car were burglary suspects who were trying to lose police, when they instead lost control of the car.
"There's absolutely no excuse for the high rate of speed these individuals were driving through your city. It's very scary," Fremont Police Officer Geneva Bosques said.

The incident began just after 10 a.m. when officers were called to an attempted burglary on Marlowe Street.
They chased the suspects to Isherwood Place where they hit a dead end in the cul-de-sac.
The car went flying into Juttu's living room.

Detectives are investigating if the suspects are connected to other burglaries in the area.
Juttu agreed it could have been worse. His two children were at summer school when the crash occurred.
"We work from home regularly, but today wasn't one of those days. If any of our families visit us in the summer, that's the room they stay in," Juttu said.
He says they plan to stay with friends while they figure out the repairs.
