Adobe Creek golf course in Petaluma to close, residents disapprove

PETALUMA, Calif. (KGO) -- It might be a stretch for anyone else to feel sorry for a man who lives on a golf course, even on a rainy day. But this is Adobe Creek Golf Club in Petaluma, soon to be the former Adobe Creek. A financial drama is playing out in Jack Osman's backyard.

There are 330 homes in this development and every owner paid a premium for golf course living. Last week, after more than two decades, course ownership announced that Adobe Creek would close and nearby residents aren't happy about it.
