No charges will be filed against a Florida man who came to the aid of a sheriff's deputy being attacked last November.
Video of the incident shows Ashad Russell walking toward the deputy, who was pinned to the ground by Edward Strother. The incident happened on I-75 in Lee County.

Russell appears to order Strother to get off the deputy, and when he doesn't Russell shoots and kills him as cars full of people looked on.
"He's about to fire dude, oh my God, don't bro, oh my God," a witness could be heard saying on the video.

The Florida State Attorney's Office determined the shooting was justified because the deputy's life was in danger.
Russell had a concealed weapons permit.
