Heavy traffic expected on Market St. in SF with Oracle event kicking off

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Heavy traffic is expected south of Market this week for the Oracle OpenWorld event at the Moscone Center.

The mega-conference showcasing the company's cloud software runs from Monday through Thursday.

Howard Street between third and fourth is already closed- and will stay that way until this Saturday for the event.

Commuters are encouraged to take public transit or avoid the area.
