Oakland Zoo handlers help animals keep cool during heat wave

Handlers at the Oakland Zoo are making sure that people and the animals under their care are able to keep cool during the extreme heat hitting the Bay Area.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The heat wave across the Bay Area this week has people going to extremes to stay cool.

And it's not just humans trying to keep cool; zoo animals at the Oakland Zoo are also getting some relief as well thanks to their handlers.
