The fire began shortly after 4 p.m. in the garage of a home on Aitken Drive off Shepherd Canyon Road.
Firefighters say three residential structures were affected, with one sustaining major damages.
Oakland Fire Department says the blaze appears to be accidental. No one was injured during this incident. One pet was rescued.
