The decision to allow the Oakland Raiders move to Las Vegas was nearly unanimous, except for Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, who did not think the Raiders met the relocation criteria.

"I believe when you own a team, you're a steward for the city, like going to the utility company," said Ross. "And I just don't think everything was done to try to stay in Oakland."
But commissioner Roger Goodell said Oakland's offer fell well short.
Veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall said he'll miss playing in Oakland. "People always asked me what was my favorite place to play, and I've also been in the league for 12 years, played for several different teams," Marshall said. "And it was always Oakland. I love the black hole."

In Phoenix for the vote, Ray Perez and Griz Jones were a big part of that black hole.
"'Two more years in Oakland,' he said. I"m not going," Perez told ABC7 News. "And I implore all Raiders fans. If you're a season ticket holder, sell 'em back."
Mark Davis is hoping Oakland fans do stick around, at least a little longer. "What we're going to try to do is bring a championship back to the Bay Area."
