San Francisco bookstore featuring cookbooks from countries under travel ban

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The owner of a San Francisco book store is taking a stand by displaying cookbooks featuring recipes from the countries affected by President Trump's travel restrictions.

Omnivore Books on Food on Cesar Chavez Street is showcasing books on cuisine from Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Iran.

The owner says she's disheartened that the authors of the books may be unable to visit the U.S.

Reactions to the display have been overwhelmingly positive.
