PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- A Bay Area baseball league will auction off a Tesla Model S to help raise $800,000.
Palo Alto Little League is selling raffle tickets for $75 apiece.

The league will purchase a vehicle with the proceeds, or the winner could take the cash equivalent.
The money will be used to modernize fields and facilities, update equipment, and train coaches, umpires, and kids.

So far the raffle has raised $10,000. Tickets will be sold through October 15th. The winner will be named two weeks later.
