Paramedics save life of 91-year-old man, reunite at hospital

DENVILLE, NJ (KGO) -- Three paramedics met up with 91-year-old Joseph Leifkin at a New Jersey hospital for a touching reunion.[br /][br /][b]RELATED: [url HREF="http://abc7news.com/society/proud-dad-moment-sons-help-shovel-for-man-in-wheelchair/1659933/[br /]" TARGET="" REL=""]Proud dad moment, sons help shovel for man in wheelchair[/url][/b][br /][br /]He was so happy to see them because they saved his life several days ago, performing CPR for more than 10 minutes after his heart stopped.[br /][Ads /][br /]"Thanks to you I'm here," said Leifkin. "If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be here."[br /][br /]"Just knowing that he's got another holiday together, a lot of us would love to have our dad's back," said Paramedic Sarah Crelin. "A holiday, we're glad this family has them."[br /][br /]On Wednesday, Joe celebrated his 91st birthday by taking his wife out to dinner.[br /][Ads /][br /]It was a date Joe had to keep.[br /][br /]During his heart attack he begged paramedics to save his life because he promised his wife a night on the town.
