President-elect Donald Trump has selected Betsy DeVos as his pick for Secretary of Education.
DeVos is a billionare businesswoman who previously served as Chairwoman of the Michigan GOP. She is an advocate for school choice and charter schools, according to ABC News.
DeVos and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Trump's pick for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, were the first women selected for Trump's Cabinet.
DeVos must be confirmed by the Senate.
