Bay Area woman killed in Austin shooting identified

SAN CARLOS, Calif. (KGO) -- A woman who was fatally shot in the crowded entertainment district of downtown Austin early Sunday morning has been identified as 30-year-old Teqnika Moultrie from San Carlos.

Moultrie drove buses for the Sequoia Union High School District.

She graduated from Woodside High School and lived in Sacramento before that.

Moultrie's family told ABC7 News she went to Austin to visit her fiance's family. The couple was expected to get married in September.

Austin police are searching for a 24-year-old man they call a person of interest.
