Bores 1, 2, and 4 will be closed on Highway 24, Monday through Thursday, from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the next morning.
Only one bore will be closed at a time, with the other tunnels remaining open to traffic.
Caltrans says the closures are needed for cable relocation, tunnel washing, and routine maintenance.
Here's the schedule:
- Monday night, eastbound Bore #1 will close
- Tuesday night, eastbound Bore #2 will close
- Wednesday and Thursday nights, westbound Bore #4 will close
