The vessel, named Lake Bay, was removed from an active surf zone on North Beach at Point Reyes on Wednesday, the Coast Guard said.
Crews initially activated an emergency pollution response on Tuesday, removing approximately 1,400 gallons of diesel fuel and 175 gallons of hydraulic and lube oil. All petroleum products were safely removed and transferred to containers for proper disposal.

On Friday, the Coast Guard said that it was working with other crews to dispose of 30 to 50 tons of dead squid from a tank aboard the vessel.
The boat ran aground Aug. 21 and four crew members and the captain were rescued, the Coast Guard said.
