According to CAL FIRE, the Glenhaven Fire which started around noon has burned at least 400 acres.
Authorities say that as of 5:15 p.m., 25 engines, five dozers, four hand crews, and five helicopters.
CAL FIRE says the biggest concern right now is the wind which has started to pick up. They say crews are having a hard time controlling the "right flank" of the fire due to spotting.
Evacuation orders have been issued for the following zones:
- CLO-E073
- CLO-E098
- CLO-E099
- CLO-E106
- GLE-E094-B
Evacuation warnings include the following zones:
- CLO-E073
- CLO-E082
- CLO-E102
- GLE-E072
- GLE-E094-A
The Lake County Sheriff's Office says temporary evacuation points have been set up at Lucerne Senior Center at 3985 Country Club Dr. and Old Airport Property at 6820 Old Hwy 53.
An evacuation shelter will open at 4 p.m. at the Twin Pine Casino & Hotel at 22223 CA-29 in Middletown.
CAL FIRE says at least 2,550 structures are currently threatened.
