LIST: Current North Bay Fire evacuation orders, people and animal shelter locations

The fast-moving [url HREF="http://abc7news.com/tag/north-bay-fires/" TARGET="" REL=""]wildfires that are raging across the North Bay[/url] have prompted evacuations in several cities. [url HREF="http://abc7news.com/2511293/" TARGET="" REL=""]Click here[/url] for a look at road and school closures.[br /][br /]Here's an ongoing list of the areas under evacuation and the centers open to help those displaced.[br /][Ads /][br /][br /][br /]Evacuation warning lifted at 8 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 for the community of Van Aresdale north of the Stroh Ranch in Mendocino County.[br /][br /][b]Some mandatory evacuations have been lifted in Bennett Valley, Kenwood, Glen Ellen, Boyes, Sonoma as of noon, Monday, October 16, 2017.[/b][br /]The areas include Bennett Valley Road and the area east of Petaluma Hill Road, Bennett Valley at Yulupa Road, Petaluma Hill at Crane Canyon, and Roberts Road at Lichau Road. Residents located outside the burn area in Kenwood will be allowed to return home. Highway 12 is only open between Greene St and Dunbar Rd. Advisory evacuations lifted in Boyes Hot Springs, including area east of Hwy 12 to the fire perimeter and south from Madrone Rd to Verano Ave. In Glen Ellen, East of Arnold Dr to fire perimeter and south from Martin St. In the city of Sonoma, evacuation advisories have been lifted East of Hwy 12 to 4th St East and south of E. Verano to East and West Spain St. and 7th St East from E. Napa St south to Denmark St.[br /][br /]The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is lifting evacuation orders in the following areas. If you live in these areas, you can return home now. There will be more law enforcement personnel in your neighborhood to keep you safe. You do not need to check in with anyone and you do not need a law enforcement escort. Except for Jack London Estates, you can access your property as you normally would. See directions to Jack London Estates below.[br /]Glen Ellen Community: Arnold Drive is now open to through traffic. Portions of the Glen Ellen Community are now open subject to the following road closures, which are in place to protect the burn areas:[br /]Dunbar Road at Hwy. 12 (no access to Henno Road)[br /]Sylvia Road between Hwy. 12 and Dunbar Road (and associated cross streets)[br /]Trinity Road both north and south of Hwy. 12 (Hwy. 12 remains open to through traffic)[br /]Warm Springs Road at Henno Road (no access to Henno Road)[br /]O'Donnell Lane at Arnold Drive[br /]London Ranch Road at Arnold Drive[br /]Chauvet Road at Arnold Drive[br /]Hill Road at Arnold Drive[br /]Warm Springs Road from Sonoma Mountain Road to Lakeside/Wake Robin Road, allowing access to Jack London Estates. This area cannot be accessed from Glen Ellen, but can be accessed via Sonoma Mountain Road or Warm Springs Road from Kenwood.[br /]Sonoma Developmental Center remains closed subject to their reopening process. We are working diligently with our partners to open the burn areas as soon as possible. If your home does not have electricity, PG&E anticipates restoring service to essentially all electric customers by late Monday. Please continue to adhere to road closures and any evacuation warnings. If you see electrical wires on the ground, stay clear and contact PG&E immediately. Trees and poles with deep charring, particularly if still smoking, should be considered hazardous. Please drive slowly and yield to emergency personnel in the area. If at any time you feel unsafe, please call 911. There will still be smoke in the respective areas as firefighters continue firefighting operations. We will send an alert for each area as it re-opens.[br /][br /]Solano County lifted its evacuation orders from 2pm-6pm for residents on Sunday, October 15, 2017.[br /][br /]The evacuation order in Calistoga were lifted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017[br /][br /]Effective Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. the evacuation advisory within the Napa city limits is lifted.
