Mountain View neighborhood starts seeing clean water once again after 2 weeks of contamination

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Safe water is flowing through the taps once again for most of a neighborhood in Mountain View that has been dealing with water main contamination for nearly two weeks.

The city ended the "boil water" notice for 46 homes near Cuesta Drive Wednesday, though 21 other homes are not in the clear yet.

Mountain View is paying for hotels, meals, and other expenses through this weekend.

It will keep delivering emergency water for another week to the whole neighborhood.



The city is also providing a two-month credit on water and sewer bills for all residents.
