Oakland firefighters knock down multi-building fire on Webster Street, authorities say

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland firefighters responded to a fire involving multiple buildings on Webster Street that broke out just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.



Firefighters say three buildings between 6th and 7th streets were affected.

Video from SKY7 shows firefighters dousing the flames and hauling debris from one of the affected buildings.



As of 2 p.m., OFD said firefighters had knocked down the building and were working on mitigating hot spots.



No injuries were reported.
