Person shot in Valley Fair mall parking lot; suspect arrested, police say

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A person is recovering after being shot in the parking lot of the Westfield Valley Fair mall in San Jose Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the shooting happened at 4 p.m. and they believe it started as road rage incident between two people.

They say the suspect was found nearby and taken into custody.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The investigation remains ongoing.
