SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A person was shot near San Francisco's Civic Center BART station on Monday and sustained life-threatening injuries, according to first responders.
It happened just before 2 p.m. in the area of Market and Jones streets.
First responders say at least one person has life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
San Francisco police have shut down that area of Market Street.
BART and Muni are telling riders to expect delays.
