SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie is marking one year in office by touting the changes he's made -- and seen in the city.

Friday morning, he paired up with Governor Gavin Newsom to announce new funding to help solve the Bay Area -- and California's homeless crisis.

Mayor Lurie highlighted his work on this pressing issue and more on Thursday, in his very first State of the City address as mayor.

On ABC7 News Midday, the mayor joined J.R. Stone and Kristen Sze fresh from his news conference with Governor Newsom.
