Classes remained canceled for the rest of the day and students who had their finals affected were told to coordinate with faculty for alternative arrangements. Regular activities are expected to resume on Friday.

SFSU officials initially wrote on social media at 12:30 p.m. that people on campus should shelter in place, and those not on campus should not come, and all classes and activities are canceled for the day.
