Santa Clara Co. prosecutors building case against accused cat killer Robert Farmer

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Santa Clara County prosecutors are looking for help in building their case against accused cat killer Robert Farmer.

The 24-year-old is charged with three felony counts of animal cruelty and one charge of attempted animal cruelty.

Hearing held in Santa Clara Co. for accused cat killer

Cat lovers and animal activists showed up at the Santa Clara County courthouse Monday for an accused cat killer's hearing.

On Friday, prosecutors released photos of two collars, hoping the owners of the cats will come forward.

They're also trying to track down the owner of a female orange, long-haired tabby suspected to have been killed by Farmer in October.
