Study: Dad's make higher salaries than men without kids

Being a dad means taking on new responsibilities, but it also means making more money.

According to City University of New York, fathers make 40% more than men who don't have kids. Researchers say dads tend to be older and more established in their jobs and get a higher salary. They also say men without kids are more likely to accept part-time jobs than fathers.

Similar findings for women: mothers make more than women without kids, but the gap is much smaller than it is among men.
