BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- University of California, Berkeley students were disappointed to find out that word of an In-N-Out Burger restaurant opening near campus was a hoax.
A photo posted on Twitter shows an In-N-Out Burger sign on an empty storefront on Telegraph Avenue just south of campus.
The sign drew a lot of excitement on social media, but after calls were made to officials at the popular restaurant chain, it was announced no site for Berkeley is planned.
