Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady cruise ship departs from SF for 1st time since debuting in 2025

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The "Brilliant Lady" marked a milestone in San Francisco today as the cruise ship made its first call to the city since debuting last Fall.

Virgin Voyages' adult-only ship celebrated its maiden arrival at Pier 27, the first time it has set sail from the port.

The "Brilliant Lady" is the only vessel in the Virgin Voyages fleet specifically designed to navigate the Panama Canal.

After departing San Francisco Wednesday, the ship will head north to Seattle before continuing on to Alaska.
