San Jose Fire Department collects donations for residents in Puerto Rico

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- People in Puerto Rico still need basic supplies, nearly two months after, Hurricane Maria hit and you can help in San Jose this weekend.

"The supplies and the relief has been slow going. And they're still recovering," said Capt. Daniel Vega, with the San Jose Fire Department.

ABC7 News visited Fire Station 6 in Willow Glen. That's one of the places where you can donate items Saturday and Sunday.
