90210 co-stars
Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, who played Brenda and Kelly, two of Perry's character's love interests on 90210, each spoke to People Magazine about their decades-long friendship.
"I am in shock. Heartbroken. Devastated by the loss of my friend. I have so many memories with Luke that make me smile and that are forever imprinted on my heart and mind," Doherty said. "I will miss him everyday. Every minute. Every second."
"My heart is broken. He meant so much to so many," Garth told People. "Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss."
Another 90210 co-star, Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, wrote on Instagram, "Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we've shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here for those you leave behind. God please give him a seat close to to you, he deserves it."
Riverdale cast and crew
Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper on Riverdale, wrote that she can't believe Perry is gone.

Riverdale co-star Molly Ringwald wrote, "My heart is broken."
The writers on the show shared this message.
They said in their Twitter bio that the show's third season, which is currently airing, would be dedicated to Perry.
Other celebrity reactions
Actor Colin Hanks shared a story of how he witnessed Perry come to the rescue when two children were acting rowdy on a plane. Hanks described how Perry came back from first class, wearing sunglasses, and gave the children a balloon.
"He ties it off, hands it off like he's holding out a sword to a king. Kneeling, Head down, arms up. Kids calm down in milliseconds," Hanks wrote.
Hanks said Perry was kind when the two spoke about their work after the flight, and he told Hanks he always keeps balloons around, just in case.
Leonardo DiCaprio, who worked with Perry for the upcoming film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, remembered Perry as "incredibly talented."
