24 riders rescued from stalled roller coaster in Maryland

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. -- Firefighters worked to rescue 24 people who became trapped after a roller coaster at Six Flags America in Maryland stopped moving Thursday night.

The Prince George's County Fire Department says the Joker's Jinx ride stalled Thursday afternoon.

They say the riders were upright and no one appeared to be in distress.

The fire department posted video of their rescue efforts on Twitter.
