San Francisco police investigating homicide in Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the Mission District.

Police say the shooting occurred just before 2:30 a.m. near 24th and Mission. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.



A bathroom sink was thrown into the back window of a police cruiser near the investigation scene. Police have not released a motive for the vandalism.
