CalFire assisted firefighters in San Ramon as they battled the vegetation fire burning near Pradera Way and Regalo Way.

Residents on Pradera Way were evacuated as firefighters worked to stop forward progress of the flames.
This was the second fire to break out in roughly the same area in a 24-hour period.
