Suspect arrested after attacking, injuring 3 people at SFO, officials say

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- At least three people were injured after a man attacked several travelers at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO), according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Police say the suspect drove to the airport and entered the pre-security area of the international terminal around 6 p.m. Friday.

They say he then pulled out an "edged weapon" and attacked three men who suffered minor cuts and scrapes. Officials say the victims were all treated on scene and were able to continue on with their travels.

Police say officers were able to arrest the suspect without incident. They say at this time they are not releasing the identity of the suspect nor the pending charges due to the active investigation.
