ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Antioch police have arrested two men after they allegedly attempted to rob a Target pharmacy and shot a Good Samaritan trying to stop them.

Authorities say officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Target on Lone Tree Way around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived they found two suspects trying to drive away from the scene.

Another officer located a man who had been shot at the entrance to the store. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A Target employee tells ABC7 that the good Samaritan was shot in the leg while trying to stop the robbers from getting away.

The suspects have been identified as Ramon Meza-Morales and Raul Garcia, both Antioch residents. Both were arrested and eventually booked into Martinez County Jail for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
