Officials investigating after Mountain View Starbucks employees sickened

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Employees at a Mountain View Starbucks had to be treated by paramedics overnight after a possible hazmat situation.

The manager at the Starbucks on N. Rengstorff and Junction Avenue said he couldn't comment on what happened.

The Starbucks closed at 7:30 p.m. Monday but firefighters got a call early Tuesday morning at about 12:40 a.m. It was for a potential hazmat. A cleaning crew was on the scene.

Officials say at least one person reported not feeling well and were treated at the scene. Reports show no one was taken to the hospital.

The store will be open at its normal time - 5 a.m.
