Curry wrote: "Let's respect our veterans by having a conversation about the ways we as civilians, as their fellow Americans they've fought to protect, can hold up our end of the bargain."
After the game Curry spoke about that excerpt, "There are countless ways that we all can contribute and take action," said Curry.
Curry says there's no set formula. He actively supports ThanksUSA which raises money for scholarships to help families of active military personnel.
"I was really proud of Steph for his beautifully written article. It captured everything perfectly because I think we get caught in the wave of what patriotism is," said Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr.
On this Veterans Day, the Warriors teamed up with Operation Care and Comfort to raise money for care packages for servicemen and servicewomen.

"It means everything and it's like Christmas getting a letter and package from home," said Army veteran Frank Keffer.
Curry says he's learned a lot about serious issues facing veterans such as lack of adequate healthcare and PTSD.
"Just that education has kind of helped me understand how I can get involved," said Curry.
The Warriors won the game on the court and off the court the team is committed to helping the Warriors who have sacrificed so much to keep our country safe.
