The shooting happened at Sunset Blvd. and Kirkham St. SFPD homicide detectives and officers processed the scene for about four hours Monday afternoon.
A car that was towed from the scene had several bullet holes on the side.
Investigators are now looking for any possible suspects and surveillance video. A spokesperson tells ABC7 News they are following up on a lead. "There was talk of a mention of a vehicle in the area at that time, so at this time we're going to try to see if there's anything related we can find," said SFPD spokesperson Officer Giselle Talkoff.

"To see bullet holes in the side of a car and to see police shutting down all of Sunset Boulevard is kind of surreal," said Maor Dhari, who lives nearby.
People who live around here tell ABC7 News it is usually pretty quiet, except for the occasional car break-in. "Nothing scary like that in the middle of the day on a Monday afternoon," said Diane Hidy, who has lived in the area 17 years.
