SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Leo Sosa is always on the lookout for tech talent.

One day, he was walking in San Francisco's Mission District when he spotted a group of young Latinos and imagined their future.

"I saw young people on the streets just hanging out, and I felt like, hey, they might know how to create a website," recalls Sosa.

That led him to create dev/Mission, an intensive program to teach Hispanics about coding, software development and IT support.
