The streaming service owned by rapper and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is now staking its claim to Prince's music.
The parent company of Tidal has filed court documents claiming exclusive streaming rights to Prince's catalog.

Roc Nation says Prince and Tidal made an agreement before Prince's death for streaming rights to all of Prince's music and to two unreleased albums.
Prince was well-known for protecting his music, declining requests from streaming services and having his music pulled from sites like YouTube.
